I’m joining ROW80 again!
I had such fun with ROW80 last time that I’m going to join in again. It helped motivate me to post everyday, which increases the content and awareness of my own page, plus I get to read a load of interesting things from writers who are far, far more talented than me.
I’m posting this intent early as I’ll be in Vietnam on the 1st October, and probably too busy to post my intent and goals then.
You may ask why it’s Round 4. Well, this is because it’s the fourth round of 80 days this year, although it’s only my second round personally. Also, if my calculations are correct, this round will finish on or around the 19th December, which is when I shall be arriving in New Zealand for my epic holiday that I have been waiting for ever since my uncle moved there over 12 years ago. What a great countdown helper this will be!
Here are my goals for this round. They are much the same as last time, with a few slight alterations:
ROW80 GOALS – ROUND 4
1) I will continue to attempt to post once a day. Again I am going on holiday, at the beginning of the round this time, so that might be difficult for the first week. I am in the process of publishing a “How To…. China” series, which will develop during the Round 4 period.
2) I will make a better attempt at commenting on people’s work. I will do this on Mondays, as that’s the day I am most free. I want to get involved with more people’s blogs.
3) I will spend time on my website, not just on content but SEO wise and making sure it is more legible for new readers.
4) I will attempt to use Twitter with ROW80 much more and get involved with other hashtags including #wordmongering and #StoryDam to encourage me to write my posts! (If someone can remind me of the time, and the difference between that time and my, China time!).
I’m thoroughly looking forward to getting involved with old and new faces in ROW80 (and counting down to New Zealand). You really are a talented bunch, much more so that I am, so I look forward to reading your posts once again!
