Night Time in the Gardens By The Bay

In which I visit Gardens By The Bay in the night time

I recently posted the daytime version of this post. At night, when all the lights come on at the Gardens By The Bay, the Supertrees (still a great name for a band) come even more to life. There are so many different colour combinations on the trees – I tried to capture as many as I could: gardens by the bay

Stunning, no?

There was also the chance to go up on the OCBC Skyway (SIN$5), which is 22m up and gave a “bird’s eye view” of the Gardens By The Bay.

Only downside to this Skyway is that you get moved along and only get a short time upon the Skyway, so make the most of it! You can see back across to the domes of the Gardens By The Bay:

To the Marina Bay Sands Hotel:

Stunning in the day and at night

And to the canopy of the Supertrees, with fun light effects coming off all the wires:

I was also inside the Cloud Dome as the night drew in and the lights inside were just as fabulous:

Gardens By The Bay are one of the main attractions in Singapore. They're free to wander around and a great place to go in the daytime. cloud dome

Love the reflections off of the glass dome roof

Leaving the Gardens By The Bay to head towards the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and promenade, I caught the Singapore Flyer in great reflections on the river. gardens by the bay singapore flyer

I also had fun capturing the stream of cars on the motorway below the pedestrian bridge.

Obviously I didn’t stay here, geez! But the walkway from the Gardens By The Bay to the Esplanade area makes it easy to glimpse inside this structure.

If you fancy taking a peek at a hotel room and other gorgeous views, my friend Sarah, who showed me around Newton Food Court, recently spent a night there.

Lastly, it was photo time amongst some of the huge palms. Hand on heart I am not photoshopped into this photo – I’m really proud of how it turned out using my tripod! Bennett on esplanade Singapore

So, the Gardens By The Bay offer great things to do in the daytime and at night. Definitely experience both when you get to Singapore!

The grounds of the Gardens By The Bay are open from 5am-2am, so whatever time of day you can happily stroll around and enjoy the scenery.
The Gardens By The Bay can be accessed by alighting at Bayfront MRT station.
